It doesn’t really need stating that ‘Retrollection’ has been in a dormant state now for over a year, for that I apologise.. ..but sometimes life gets in the way and for a number of reasons 2018 was a not a year I could devote much time to the blog, apart from tweaking existing and researching for new articles. The last year presented me with both tremendous highs and lows.. ..that simply diverted my attention.
However, I am continually astonished with how many people are reading the blog; since its inception in 2015 there have now been in excess of 13,500 hits, from all over the world.. ..it is very humbling and gratifying to know that so many people are reading and hopefully enjoying my blog posts, so thank you all.
Fortunately, I can report that I am back and aim to devote more time to ‘Retrollection’.
‘Retrollection’ is something I started having no idea of the response I would get, or indeed if anyone would have interest in. The substantive number of reader hits has convinced me that there is indeed an audience.. ..and I have lots more I would like to share with you.
I aim to ensure that the content of ‘Retrollection’ is as accurate and as illustrative as I can make it. As such, and being a bit of a perfectionist, the blogs do take me a while to research and write.. ..especially as I fit them in between a demanding job and life in general. However, I am hoping that I will be able to add at least a couple of articles each month and additionally create some videos for the YouTube channel.
One area of ‘Retrollection’ I would really like to improve upon is the amount I hear back from, and interact with, you.. ..the readers. I would love you to respond and get involved, I welcome your views and comments. I think that this will make ‘Retrollection’ even more exciting, informative and appealing to both current and future readers.
So please get involved, let me know your views and ‘stay tuned’ for upcoming blogs.. ..the next of which will be a review of ‘Subway’ the 1985 film by Luc Besson and an in depth look at the solution to ‘Masquerade’, a book published in 1979 by Kit Williams.
With very best wishes,
