Welcome to Retrollection.net

Retrollection avatarHello, I am ‘Dr Woody’ and this is my personal blog. The aim of Retrollection.net is to combine my fond recollections of items from contemporary popular culture since c. the 1970’s, along with candid reviews, retrospectives and news – as visually and informatively as I can.

Whilst initially concentrating on gaming/computing and collectibles I am sure that together we will venture onto other subjects over time – wherever our imagination take us! Amongst other things, it seems likely that we’ll get around to discussing thrift shopping, hunting down elusive retro computer games, TV shows, films, records, action figures, comics, books and pop memorabilia in general.

Although taking a slight UK perspective in some of my articles, I will not restrict discussions to the small island I live on; Retrollection.net will include relevant subject matter from around the world.

So, if you like what you see, follow me and please let others know about Retrollection.net.

I would really appreciate your comments, ‘likes’ and support. Get in contact, share and divulge – Retrollection.net is an exciting and somewhat brave venture for me; its success will depend on your input as well as mine – I hope you decide to join me on what I hope will be an interesting journey into our recent past.
